TOURETTS SYNDROME

Touretts is a disorder where you have physical tics and verbal tics. Tics are unwanted, uncontrollable physical movements. They also have verbal tics, which is when you say something you don't mean to say. Most people think they swear alot, but less than 10% of Tourette patients do.
Touretts is categorized into two tic categories: Simple and Complex
Simple tics are brief and sudden tics that dont last very long at all. Like eye twitching, shoulder shrugging and simple things like that.
Complex tics are longer more noticeable tics. Like they touch random objects, constant throat clearing, and other things that are a little more severe than simple tics.
Usually, Touretts develops either at birth or very early in life. From time to time adults will develop it, but they don't get is as often as kids. When kids get it, there tics are at their worst around the age of twelve. Then they usually "grow out" of Touretts around late teens or early 20's.
